Nonna Rosetta'S Bucatini All'Amatriciana - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bucatini pasta
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 piece hot chili or chili flakes (if desired)
2 1/2 c. canned Italian peeled tomatoes, drained and chopped
1/4 lb. thickly sliced pancetta or bacon, diced
3 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Begin cooking pasta in boiling water.
Heat half the oil in frying pan and saute onion and chili until soft.
Add tomatoes and simmer for 7 minutes.
