Stuffed Pork Chops(Costolette Di Maiale Ripieni) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork loin chops (1-inch thick)
    4 slices Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
    4 slices Prosciutto, cut into strips
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. olive oil
Preparation
    Have butcher cut a
    pocket in each chop.
    Place 1 slice Mozzarella cheese, Prosciutto, salt and pepper in each pocket; close.
    Secure with
    string
    or
    toothpicks.
    Roll
    chops into bread crumbs and dip
    into
    egg.
    Fry
    in
    oil
    on medium heat until golden on each
    side.
    Place in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 4 servings.
