Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter/oleo
1 c. sifted flour
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. soft butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
2/3 c. or more coarsely broken pecans
Preparation

Cheese Pastry:
Let cream cheese and 1/2 cup oleo soften to room temperature.
Blend together.
Stir in flour and chill about 1 hour.
Shape in 2 dozen 1-inch balls.
Place in ungreased muffin pans.
Press dough against bottom and sides.
