Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. stew meat
2 Tbsp. oil
3 c. water
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/3 c. cornstarch
2 bay leaves
16 oz. can tomatoes
2 c. potatoes
2 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, chopped
16 oz. green beans
16 oz. can peas
16 oz. kernel corn
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Brown meat in oil.
Add cornstarch and spices.
Mix well.
Stir in tomatoes and water.
Bring mixture to boil, stirring frequently.
Place meat mixture and add remaining ingredients in foil pan.
Cover and bake for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
Stir twice during baking.
