Pecan Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
3/8 tsp. salt
9 egg yolks
3 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar and cream again.
Add flour, salt and egg yolks and mix well.
Stir in evaporated milk and vanilla. Pour into pie shells and sprinkle each with 1 cup of chopped pecans.
Bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 for at least 40 minutes.
