Mom'S Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1 pinch salt
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 or 45 minutes, or until brown on top.
