Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes Knox gelatine
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. water
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Put gelatine, sugar, water and pineapple in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Boil about 5 minutes.
    Partially cool and add cream cheese and Cool Whip.
    Stir until smooth.
    Pour into a 9 or 10-inch square pan and chill for several hours.
