Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 recipe Apple Topping
Preparation

Stir butter to soften.
Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating smooth after each addition.
Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle with Apple Topping.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, or until done.
Cool 15 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve warm.
