Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. fat
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
Preparation
    Melt fat in 2-quart saucepan.
    Brown onion, green pepper and beef in hot fat.
    Add tomatoes, soup, paprika, cayenne, bay leaf and chili powder.
    Simmer about 1 hour, adding water if mixture gets too thick.
