Butter Buds - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs, beat together
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum flavor
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. walnuts

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients.
Add next 2 and next 4 ingredients. Mix well and add walnuts.
Roll into small balls.
Press cherry on top or walnut.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Holiday cookie.
