Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 fryer or hen
1 c. hot water
3 c. self-rising flour
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

In large saucepan or Dutch oven, place chicken.
Cover with cold water; season to taste.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until tender.
Bring back to a boil to cook dumplings.
