Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 stick butter
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
    5 egg whites
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and set aside.
    Cream sugar, oil and butter together.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, then add buttermilk, coconut, flour, soda and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and nuts.
    Pour into 3 well-greased cake pans. Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and ice.
