Shoofly Cupcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 c. margarine
1 lb. brown sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mix flour, margarine and sugar to fine crumbs.
Reserve 1 1/2 cups of crumbs for top.
Mix water, molasses and baking soda.
Add to remaining crumbs and beat until very thin batter.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan or fill cupcake tins 1/2 full.
Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
Cake 45 to 50 minutes.
Cupcakes 25 to 30 minutes.
