Chicken Or Turkey Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. celery, sliced
1 c. onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained
1 1/2 c. chopped, cooked chicken or turkey
2 to 3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cold water
seasoned salt and pepper
1 jar sliced mushrooms
1 can chow mein noodles
Preparation

Combine hot water and bouillon cubes in a small bowl.
Set aside.
Combine the cornstarch and cold water; set aside.
Separate onion slices into rings and fry with celery in melted butter until softened.
Add drained bean sprouts, mushrooms, dissolved bouillon cubes and cornstarch.
Stir until thickened.
Add chicken cubes. Stir.
Add soy sauce, seasoned salt and pepper to taste.
Reduce heat to warm.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
