Egg And Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 slices bread, buttered on one side and cubed
    1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
    5 eggs
    2 c. half and half milk
    1 tsp. salt
    5 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer bread cubes over bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle sausage over bread cubes.
    Beat eggs well. Stir in half and half and salt.
    Pour over bread/sausage mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
