Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. pkg. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. finely chopped walnuts or 1 c. finely chopped pecans and 1 tsp. walnut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar thoroughly.
    Gradually add white sugar and continue creaming.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
    Combine baking powder, salt and flour.
    Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Blend well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Frost with Orange Frosting or your favorite.
