Pound Cake With Fruit(My Christmas Fruit Cake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
2 small bottles lemon extract (1 oz. each)
6 eggs, separated
1 lb. white raisins
1 lb. crystallized cherries (red and green)
1 lb. pecans
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks and lemon extract.
Mix fruit, nuts and flour.
Pour butter mixture over this.
Put soda in water and add to other mixture.
Fold in beaten egg whites last.
Bake in slow oven at about 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
