Penne With Mussels And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    2 c. chopped, peeled tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 c. clam juice
    3/4 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1 lb. mussels, scrubbed
    1 Tbsp. brandy
    1 (16 oz.) box penne
Preparation
    Heat oil in large saucepan.
    Add garlic and pepper flakes; saute 2 to 3 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes, parsley and basil. Bring to a boil; lower heat and cover.
    Simmer for 10 minutes. Add clam juice, then shrimp.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
    Add mussels and brandy; cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes longer, until shrimp are pink and mussels are open.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta and drain.
    Transfer to serving bowl.
    Top pasta with hot sauce.
