Rum Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. rum
    8 oz. ground pecans
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    12 oz. crushed vanilla wafers
    1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt chocolate chips and Karo syrup on low heat.
    Add vanilla wafers, pecans and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Pour rum over mixture and knead with hands until well blended.
    Roll into marble size balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar.
    Makes about 100 balls.
