Apple Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium apples
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Cut the
apples
in half and core, slice thinly.
You do not need
to
peel the apples.
Drop slices into a bowl of cold water. Set aside.
Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and
salt,
mixing
well.
Beat the egg well in a medium bowl. Stir
in
the
brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
Blend in the
well drained apples and flour mixture, mixing well.
Fold in the walnuts and raisins.
Spread mixture evenly in a greased 9-inch pie
plate.
Bake
at
350\u00b0
for
30 minutes.
Serve hot topped with vanilla ice cream.
