Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. applesauce
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
granulated sugar
powdered sugar

Preparation

Cream brown sugar and shortening.
Mix in applesauce, vinegar and vanilla.
Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, soda and salt and add to first mixture.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
