Banana Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. bananas, mashed
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Cream shortening, vanilla, lemon and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together and mix with creamed ingredients.
Add bananas and nuts.
Drop and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until browned. Makes 40 cookies.
