Apple And Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 acorn or buttercup squash
    salt
    2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
    8 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Leave squash whole (pierce).
    Cook in microwave on High for 8 to 10 minutes or until they feel soft to the touch.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Cut in half and remove seeds.
    Place, cut side up, in shallow baking dish.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Fill with apples. Top each half with 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and a dash of cinnamon. Cook, covered, with waxed paper 4 to 5 minutes on High or until apples are tender.
    If desired, add 1 tablespoon raisins with apples to each squash half.
