Saucy Zucchini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. zucchini, thinly sliced (about 4 c.)
2 medium onions, thinly sliced (about 1 c.)
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
2 oz. process sharp American cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook zucchini and onion in a small amount of boiling water until tender; drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk, all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Combine the sauce with the cooked vegetables and pour into a 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.
Top with cheese and then with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
