Peachy Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. rolled oats
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. peach preserves
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a 13 x 9-inch pan while preheating oven. Stir in rolled oats, flour, sugar and baking powder until blended. Mixture will be crumbly; reserve 1/2 cup crumbs.
    Pat remaining mixture in bottom of pan.
    Spread preserves to within 1/2-inch of edges.
    Sprinkle on coconut and remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool in pan.
