Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large baking hen
    6 c. self-rising meal
    8 eggs
    1 pkg. saltine crackers
    2 c. stale bread chunks
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook hen; boil, reserving broth until tender.
    Debone chicken. Cook cornbread as desired.
    Use at least 2 eggs in cornbread. Crumble cornbread, crackers and stale bread chunks in large baking pan.
    Add chicken broth, deboned chicken and 6 boiled eggs.
    Stir; continue adding broth until desired consistency.
    Add chopped onion.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
