Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
    1 medium onion
    3 stalks celery
    4 medium carrots
    1 c. tomato juice
    1/3 c. quick cooking tapioca
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 c. water with beef bouillon
    2 medium potatoes
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except potatoes in 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours (or until meat is tender).
    Stir several times during cooking.
    Mix potatoes in during last hour of cooking.
