Beef And Asparagus Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. oil
    1 lb. top round steak, cut into 2 x 1/4-inch strips
    1 lb. fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces or 9 or 10 oz. pkg. frozen cut asparagus, partially thawed
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 c. sliced green onions
    2 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine water, soy sauce, cornstarch and garlic powder.
    Blend well. Set aside.
