Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. corn flake crumbs
1/3 c. margarine
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. flour
4 c. cooked, sliced carrots (drained)
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation

Combine corn flake crumbs and 2 Tbsp. margarine; set aside. Add onion to remaining margarine and saute over low heat.
Add flour, salt and pepper.
Stir in milk.
Increase heat to medium, cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly.
Add cheese and stir until smooth.
Stir in carrots and parsley.
Spread in shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish and sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
Serves 8.
