Peanut Butter Chewie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Karo or Blackburn syrup
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. peanut butter
    1 (12 oz.) box cornflakes
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Put syrup in a large boiler (4 quarts).
    Sprinkle sugar over it and slowly bring to a boil over low heat.
    Do not stir much.
    When it comes to a rolling boil, add margarine, peanut butter and corn flakes.
    Pour on buttered pan, about 11 x 16-inch.
    Press evenly over pan.
    Cut in desired size when partly cool.
