Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
3/4 c. dates, cut
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. walnut meats
1 1/2 c. applesauce (unsweetened)
1 small can crushed pineapple (undrained)

Preparation

Mix together; pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
