Squirrel Dumplings(Southwest Missouri'S Special) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cut squirrel into serving pieces, season and brown in hot fat. Put in pressure cooker and cover with one (No. 2 1/2) can of sauerkraut.
Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 20 minutes.
This is also delicious with rabbit or chicken.
