Tournedos Diane With Marchandde Vin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1-1/2 in. thick) fillets of beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 tomatoes, thinly sliced
    4 lg. fresh crown mushrooms
    4 onions, thinly sliced
    4 fresh parsley sprigs
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Sear steaks on each side in hot skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
    Put in baking dish with a layer of onion and then tomato, topping with mushrooms.
