Blackberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 qt. blackberries
    water to cover
    about 1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Bring blackberries to boil in enough water to cover and sugar to taste.
    Mix sugar and flour; cut in butter.
    (Do not melt butter.)
    Beat egg separately.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Drop mixture into hot blackberries and bake about 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 until brown.
