Ingredients

3 Tbsp. oil or butter
1 pkg. dried beef, shredded
3 Tbsp. flour
2 3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1/4 tsp. ground rosemary
3 eggs
8 slices white bread
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet.
Add beef and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Blend in flour; add 2 cups milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add seed, rosemary and pepper to taste.
Keep hot.
Next, beat eggs.
Add remaining milk.
Dip bread into mixture and fry in hot butter until golden brown on both sides. Serve beef between and over toast.
