Italian Spaghetti Sauce And Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can tomatoes, crushed
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 clove garlic, diced
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 large onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 can mushrooms, cut fine
    2 small cans tomato paste
    2 or 3 bay leaves
    basil to taste
    chopped black olives
Preparation
    Slowly cook sauce until onions are tender (approximately 1 hour).
    Simmer for 2 more hours.
    Water may be added for desired consistency.
    Add 1 teaspoon sugar during last 1/2 hour.
    Add the drained, chopped mushrooms last.
