Pork Chop-Rice Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 green pepper
    1 large tomato
    1 large onion
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can beef consomme
    salt and pepper to taste
    bacon drippings (optional)
Preparation
    Flour and brown pork chops.
    Place rice in bottom of baking dish.
    Place pork chops on rice.
    Slice tomato, onion and green pepper on top.
    Top with bacon drippings.
    Add consomme.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Take cover off and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
