Date Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. white Karo
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
Preparation

Mix sugar, Karo, butter and milk.
Bring to a boil (soft ball stage).
Add dates.
Take from fire and beat until creamy.
When cool, add vanilla and nuts.
Beat until real stiff.
Turn out on cloth rung out of water and roll.
Cut into pieces and enjoy.
