Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. chopped lean beef
    1 (15 oz.) can drained garbanzo beans or chickpeas
    1 (19 oz.) can chili without beans
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar or Mexican cheese
    1/3 c. drained, sliced ripe olives (optional)
    1/3 c. chunky mild salsa to taste
    1 (8 oz.) bottle Catalina salad dressing or to taste
Preparation
    Brown chopped beef.
    Add chopped onion and saute.
    Drain off fat, if desired.
    Blend beef, onion, garbanzo beans, chili, shredded cheese, ripe olives, salsa and Catalina salad dressing. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Add 1 pound salad greens, mixing well with ingredients.
    Top with taco corn chips or chili corn cheese chips and serve.
