Texas Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. ground chuck
    4 medium chopped onions
    4 to 5 cloves minced garlic
    3 large cans (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes and puree
    3 c. water
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    4 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup
    4 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1/2 c. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    1 1/2 Tbsp. crushed red chili pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat with the onions. Drain well. Add all ingredients except kidney beans and cook 1 hour.
    Add kidney beans and cook 1/2 hour longer.
    This is hot chili.
    Freezes well.
