Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 stick oleo
    1 9-inch baked pie crust
    1/2 can (small) of flaked coconut
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Blend in milk and egg yolks (slightly beaten).
    Cook until thick and smooth (about 7 minutes), stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add oleo and coconut, blending well.
    Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell.
    Cover with meringue, sprinkle with coconut.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until brown.
