Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 well-beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 5 bananas
vanilla wafers
Preparation

In saucepan blend sugar, cornstarch and salt; add milk.
Blend thoroughly.
Add well-beaten egg.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
In a shallow bowl or dish, layer wafers and bananas.
Pour pudding over while still warm.
Top with more wafers.
Serves 6.
