Green Beans And Potato Casserole For 6 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked green beans
    1 c. diced boiled potatoes
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    4 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
    1 c. shredded process American cheese
    1/4 c. cheese
    cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Combine green beans, potatoes and celery in 1-quart casserole. Fry bacon, drain and crumble.
    Saute onion in bacon drippings. Stir in flour.
    Add evaporated milk slowly; stir constantly.
    Cook until thickened and smooth; stir constantly.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Pour over vegetables in casserole; mix well. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese, cracker crumbs and crumbled bacon over top.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) about 30 minutes.
