Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. lentils
    2 Tbsp. beef style veggie seasoning
    1/2 c. onion or more, chopped
    1/2 c. or more celery
    3 Tbsp. snipped parsley or dried
    2 cloves garlic or more
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 tsp. oregano
    1 (28 oz.) can organic tomatoes, chopped
    2 bay leaves (need to take out when done)
    touch of sage
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. Vegex
Preparation
    Rinse lentils; drain and place in soup kettle.
    Add 8 cups of water and remaining ingredients except tomatoes.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Add tomatoes; simmer, covered, 30 minutes more. Serves 8 to 10.
