German Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sauerkraut (any kind)
    1/2 c. oil (you might like less)
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 big onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. dill weed (more or less to taste)
    1 Tbsp. pimento or green pepper (if desired), diced
Preparation
    Rinse sauerkraut in cold water really good.
    Squeeze out water.
    Mix oil, vinegar and sugar; pour out.
    Add the rest of ingredients.
    Refrigerate all day or overnight.
