Sausage Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower
1 tsp. Italian seasoning, crushed
6 Brown 'N Serve sausage links
1 3/4 c. skim milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
Preparation

In a large saucepan, bring the water to boiling.
Add frozen vegetables and Italian seasoning to saucepan. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Cut Brown 'N Serve sausages into bite size.
In mixing bowl, stir together the skim milk and cornstarch. Stir milk mixture and sausages into vegetable mixture in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickens and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Tear cheese into pieces.
Stir it into the chowder until melted.
Season chowder to taste with salt and pepper. Makes 3 servings.
