Soda Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. almond flavoring
20 soda crackers, crushed
Cool Whip

Preparation

Beat egg whites until they hold a peak. Add cream of tartar, sugar and almond flavoring. Beat until sugar dissolves, then add nuts and crushed crackers. Bake in greased pie plate for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0. Let pie cool completely and top with Cool Whip. (Best when allowed to set overnight or for a few hours.)
