Honey Baked Beans Hawaiian Style(Serves 48 - Three Gallons) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. pinto beans
    1 1/2 gal. water
    1 lb. salt pork, cubed
    1 lb. onions, sliced
    3 bay leaves
    2 c. honey
    2 1/2 c. pineapple juice
    2 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 qt. ketchup
    1 c. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 qt. canned pineapple chunks (reserve juice)
    2 qt. green and red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch chunks
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight; drain and cover with fresh water. Add salt pork, onions
    and
    bay
    leaves.
    Cook\tfor
    1 hour or until beans are
    just
    tender.
    Drain, reserve cooking liquid. Combine honey,
    pineapple
    juice, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, dry mustard and garlic powder.\tMix until blended.
