Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) stick oleo
    6 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, chopped
    4 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
    3 (6 oz.) rolls garlic cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 c. blanched almonds
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook broccoli according to directions on package.
    Drain well. Saute onions in oleo.
    Add broccoli, soup, cheese, mushrooms, water chestnuts, 3/4 cup of almonds and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 3 (1-quart) casserole dishes (or its equivalent). Top with remaining almonds and crumbs.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until bubbly.
