Tomato Aspic Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    2 c. V-8 juice
    other varied ingredients listed can be used if desired
Preparation
    Pour 1/2 cup cold V-8 juice in container.
    Sprinkle gelatin on top.
    Heat remainder of V-8 juice, pour in and stir.
    Refrigerate just until mixture begins to harden.
    Fold in any additional ingredients such as chopped nuts, chopped celery, olives, etc. Either top with slices of hard-boiled eggs or spread Miracle Whip on top.
    Cut into squares and serve on a bed of lettuce.
    Congeals quickly!
    Serves 4 to 6.
